Step down?
He has the Ashes and has won on the last away series in India and S Africa.
Has any England captain had that record in living memory?

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
disgusting that a team can lose a test match from that position, balance can fuck off now. bring buttler back, I'd rather have him in the team

Master draw or not he has to step down

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
So everyone's spent ages saying how the middle and lower order keep bailing out the top order and the one time the openers do something decent, everyone else fucks everything up.

Maybe it's time we created some practice dust bowls in England to practice on and just pay warne and muraly to bowl at our batsmen all day everyday until they figure out what to do. We can't bat against spin, we can't bat against bouncers (see Mitchell Johnson) and that never really seems to change.

Fair play to Bangladesh and the teenager they played well, but we do like handing stuff on a plate to people

Also, I've always wanted us to keep faith with Finn as I do think there's a quality player in there but I sadly think they lacks he mental strength to make it at test level and it's time to draw a line underneath it and move on to someone else

Cook has to resign or be sacked tonight.
Totally unacceptable to lose to Bangladesh

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
That is unlikely to stop him playing for his country.

One call from Strauss, sack Cook and job is a good 'un.

Losing to Ireland is embarrassing, losing to the Netherlands is a disgrace, but losing to Bangladesh in a Test match belittles every England player of all time.

Compton, Hutton, Barrington, SF Barnes, Prior, Bedser and Laker would be turning in their graves.

Umpires get another big decision wrong.

If wasn't for the reviews the game would have been over in 2 days.

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
Ha ha , good one Matty
Has Bayliss lost a series yet?

England might want to think about some right handers to face Ashwin before they head to India.
Hameed & Buttler for Duckett & Ballance maybe.

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
This 19yo Mehedi now has 18 wickets @ 16 in his first two Tests.
Probably wondering what all the fuss about Test cricket is.

The death knell for Cook and Bayliss.

Time to give the kids a go and remove the old dross.

English cricket RIP

Re: 2nd Test : Bangladesh v England at Dhakar
The best players and teams on these surfaces look to attack the spin. I know it's alien to us but the way we try and 'dig in' is a disaster.

Balance is already selected for the India squad. Looks like he's in for a long spell carrying drinks etc...

That has got to be the end of Ballance.
